Thanksgiving in CT

We had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving in Connecticut this year. I only wish we had taken more pictures. Highlights were fun, relaxing family time in Westbrook, trip to NYC and visiting the 9-11 memorial and dinner at a great restaurant, a visit from Alicia who lives in nearby New Haven now.

Sedona Vacation-November 2011

In November, Mike and I were fortunate to make a much needed trip out to Sedona, Az for vacation. We spent the first few days in Scottsdale, and while we were there spent an afternoon at a local spa-- it was so relaxing and beautiful!

Labor Day 2011- Elk Lake

I was lucky to make a brief trip to Elk Lake for Labor Day this year. Though I spent some of the weekend studying at Moka in Bellaire, I was able to spend some time with family too!

The 1st of (hopefully many) wine dinners- August 2011

A big thank you to our friends who came up with the idea of getting together every few months for wine tasting and dinner with friends. The first one in late August was at our house.

Cheers to 3 years of marriage! August 23rd, 2011

Mike and I enjoyed a getaway to GR and Holland in August to celebrate 3 years of marriage!

Our view from the JW Marriot in GR- we had an awesome room, thanks to telling them it was our anniversary, we got a great upgrade! We had a great time exploring GR again and a wonderful dinner at one of our old favorites, San Chez Bistro.

The following day we headed to Holland. Our first stop of course was New Holland Brewing Company.

Then ended the day at the Holland State Park.

We had a wonderful time joining Nancy and Randy for their wedding festivities in August. Jillian and I were readers in the wedding. Mike had fun as Jillian brought Asheesh along as her date, so it was like a big med school reunion!
