4th of July- Lake St. Clair

4th of July was a hot one down here!! It was the first day I started to notice Braxton-Hicks contractions, probably due to all of the heat and a little dehydration, but with the help of several liters of H20 and lots of swimming, they went away pretty quickly!

It was a popular place to be in SE Michigan on the 4th-- reminded me somewhat of Torch Lake sandbar, but it is nowhere near as beautiful (no offense to Lake St Clair, but nothing beats Torch Lake).

Jessica and Brian get married

Brian and Jess got married on June 30th.  It was a beautiful day, and the location at the former Bower's Harbor Inn lawn (now Mission Table) was perfect.  Here is the happy couple!!

Can't wait for this happy couple's wedding in October! Megan is the groom's sister, and my sorority sister and dear friend.  Her fiance Marcus happens to be a dear friend of mine from growing up.  I knew them both individually before they were a couple, and boy are they perfect for each other!

Ann Arbor Baby Shower

On June 9th, dear friends Emily, Megan and Meaghan hosted a baby shower for me and baby H in Ann Arbor.  It was so wonderful to get together, and to celebrate with a few people who finished their training in Michigan, and have since moved away (Kunjali, Jackie, Kami).
