North Manitou Camping Trip

Last Sunday we went camping with Christine and Todd on N. Manitou Island and had a blast.

June TC vacation and Dave and Lauren visit

Mike and I enjoyed a week vacation up north the last week of June. It felt way too short, but we squeezed as much in as we could during the time we were there!

On the Amara

Fishing at the kid's fishing pond in Elk Rapids...not much luck and it was a cold day!

Later, we went to the Elk River Dam and caught and released 4 small mouth bass.

The next day we went fishing on Lake Skegemog after visiting with Grandma Nichols.

Another successful fishing day, all catch and release that day too!

Later that day we went down the Torch River to the Torch Lake sandbar.

Followed by dinner with family (including both grandmas, and aunt and uncle) and a wonderful campfire with S'mores!
