Teeth SEVEN-
poor guy went from 4 teeth to 7 teeth in a matter of days. This was some of the
roughest “teething” yet, though he handled it all with a drooling smile.
Sleeping Jackson
sleeps from 7:00-8:00 pm until around 6:00-6:45 am. He still wakes up once a night. He has had a harder time falling asleep for naps and at
bedtime lately. Hopefully it is
just his teeth! He naps twice a
day.
Eating Jackson has been exploring
all kinds of yummy fruit/veggie/grain combos when it comes to purees. He still
likes the baby mum mums, and refuses puffs. We have decided now that he is 9 months we are going to try
to start more table food. He is
also going to start eating three times a day with the “Big boys” at
school. He loves rice cereal and
oatmeal as well.
Movement Jackson can quickly scoot
across the room- he often is in a half crawling position, leaving his left leg
under him. The baby gates are up!
Milestones He learned to pull up just
a few days after he turned 9 months old.
Favorite toys/activities He loves his new sandbox and kiddy pool! He also
likes his textured balls, and new airplane and dump truck. His favorite book is his new truck book.
Dislikes Jackson’s
second ear infection in 2 months.
Also dislike prolonged efforts to get him to bed these days. Hoping it
is just the teeth or his ears!
Words & sounds Ma ma ma….yes,
he finally said it!
What we love We love
watching how smart he is. He is
really enjoying his new interactive toys and seems to figure them out amazingly
quickly!
What we don’t love Ear infections and having a hard time falling
asleep.
What we’re looking forward to next month Taking Jackson up north and getting him into Elk
Lake!
