Weight & Length Miles weighed in at 11 lbs 10 oz (42%) and was 23.25 inches (69%) long!
Clothing size 0-3 months, though I have several 3-6 month pieces in the wash getting them ready :)
Hair Light brown hair that seems to look a lot like his big sisters at this age!
Teeth Zero
Sleeping Miles is usually a pretty good sleeper. He got his first cold right around 2 months so had a brief regression, but in general he usually goes to be early- around 7:30-8 pm, and I wake him up for a dream feed before I go to bed (sometime between 10:30-11:30). Then he usually wakes up around 3:00 and again at 6:30. Previously Miles would sleep til 7:30, but now some days he likes to get up for the day by 6:45. He slept his first 2 months in the Uppa Baby Bassinet in our room, and we just transitioned to the pack and play at 2 months because he was getting so long in the bassinet. Around 5-6 weeks of age we started a bit of a bedtime routine with sound machine and sleeping in his crib. When I wake him up to feed him before bed, he moves down to our room for the remainder of the night (as to not wake his siblings overnight).
Eating Miles likes to eat around every 2-2.5 hours during the day. Nursing is going pretty well. He occasionally eats more frequently which I don't mind if it helps him sleep longer at night. He is fast at nursing, just like his siblings, and is starting to get distracted by his surroundings.
Movement Miles loves to lay on his play mat and kick his legs- he will do this for quite a long time. We are starting to fore tummy time a bit more but he doesn't love it. He also likes to sit in his bouncer for the first time and bat at the toy bar- maybe only for 10 minutes max but he likes it more now.
Milestones Miles is a super smiley baby just like his siblings. He is generally very happy unless he is tired or hungry. The nighttime fussiness seems to be much less now. He also has started cooing and mimicking noises we make and Jackson and Kate love hearing Miles start to talk!
Favorite toys/activities Miles is happiest in mommy's arms or laying on her chest. He also loves his activity mat and especially the black and white mobile.
Dislikes Miles doesn’t love tummy time, but is more tolerant of it. He doesn't love the bottle yet but we are working hard on it this month getting him ready for mommy to go back to work.
Words & sounds Miles loves to impress his siblings with sounds he can make. He loves to coo at us, and is especially good at saying Oooo and Ohhhh.
What we love How cuddly Miles is. He is happiest in our arms.
What we don’t love Teaching Miles to get used to the bottle hasn't been as easy as his siblings, but we are working on it and hoping the transition back to work goes smoothly.
What we’re looking forward to next month We can't wait to watch him interact more with us and his siblings. We will continue to watch and see if he will roll over early like his siblings did!
