More spring photos of our little man

Jackson- 7 months old

Age 7 months
Weight & Length  Not sure, but he is definitely gaining weight because the infant car seat keeps getting heavier!
Clothing size  Mostly 6-12
Hair More blonde hair by the day, and it is starting to come in more on the sides.
Teeth  Still only two on the bottom though we are sure there are more coming soon
Sleeping  Jackson sleeps from 7:00-8:00 pm until around 6:00-6:45 am. He generally has still been waking up at least once to eat, but we have had 2 nights in the last few weeks when he slept 8-10 hours (till 5:30 am), I’ll take it- keep it up buddy!
Eating  Jackson loves his purees.  He has been such a good eater we have cut back a bit on solids at daycare to make sure he still takes enough milk! We found he was getting full on solids, and then would want to wake up all night to nurse to make up for the calories. Once we cut back the quantities of solids at daycare, he has done better.  He nurses 6-7 times a day on the weekends and 3 times on the week days, and takes 4.5 oz bottles at daycare. His favorite solids are mangos and sweet potatoes.  He doesn’t love the pureed peas (and we don’t blame him).
Movement  Jackson loves to sit up, and is much better at self correcting himself and keeping from tipping over.  We haven’t seen much interest in crawling yet, but we are still getting the house prepared for that stage.  We are building a new wall in the kitchen this week to protect the top of the stairs and allow us to install a baby gate, and have replaced our sharp-edged glass coffee table.
Milestones  He can stand up independently when holding on to some of his toys and is starting to show off by now only using one hand for support (with us backing him up close by of course)! He also has started loving a few new activity- swinging, and riding in the BOB running stroller!
Favorite toys/activities  He loves his Zany Zoo wooden activity center, and also his learning walker.  He has become fascinated by the telephone on the learning walker, and loves the music.  He loves to stand up and hold on to the zany zoo. He also loves his stackable tower of balls, soft blocks and baby paper.
Dislikes  Not much- we still continue to hope he will start sleeping though the night soon, but otherwise he is such an easy baby! We are so lucky!
Words & sounds Jackson loves to talk to us. He continues to squeal, but loves to babble- saying dadada, yayaya, ahahahah.  No mama yet, but I am sure it will come soon.
What we love   Everything!  Jackson has become such an easy traveler and is so interested in exploring things that we have started taking him out to brunch or dinner once or twice a weekend.  He loves staring at people in restaurants and soaks up their compliments on what a well-mannered little boy he is.
What we don’t love  No real complaints here!
What we’re looking forward to next month More teeth, more sounds, and more movement!
