Dear friends Aaron and Christine got married on Mackinac Island on Memorial Day weekend.

Visit to Columbus

In late May, we had a great weekend get away to Columbus to visit the Dunn's. While we were there, we were also able to see our friends Kyle and Ryan Pfahl, and Pete too.  How lucky to see them twice in 1 month. I wish we had taken pics that weekend, but we didn't.  We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Pfahl's on Friday night.

On Saturday, we enjoyed time with the Dunn's.  Anna and I did some damage shopping (as usual) and we had a great dinner out in Columbus.   We were sad to leave on Sunday, but hope we can make it back to Columbus to visit them all soon.  Here are a few pics of Griffin, I can't believe how big he is getting--- he just turned 2 on 7/2/12 :) 

Welcome to the world Elsie Franxman!

In early April, our friends Kim and Tim (my-co fellow) welcomed their 3rd child, a daughter, named Elsie! We are so excited for them

Savannah, GA

While we were in Kiawah for the week, we decided to take an overnight trip down the coast to beautiful Savannah, GA.

Kiawah Island, SC

We had a wonderful trip to Kiawah Island, SC this year.  We enjoyed a week there, with an overnight trip to Savannah, GA which we will mention in a separate post.  It was so great that Mike's parents, Lisa and Steve, and the 2 of us were able to spend some quality time together!!

Toronto and Laura's 31st B-day- April 2012

We had a great time exploring Toronto in April and celebrating my birthday a day early.  We made a stop on the way to Ottawa, Canada for Papa Mac's (Mike's grandfather) funeral.  Toronto was beautiful, and while we were in Canada for a sad occasion, it was wonderful to be with family who loved Papa Mac, and celebrate his life together.
